History

Dulatown Outreach Center, Inc. is an outgrowth of the ministry of Dulatown Presbyterian Church (USA) in which the Pastor, E.B. Freeman, Jr., at that time, served the church for 13 years; from September 1974 to July 1987. While establishing the Summer Enrichment Program at the church, Rev. Freeman received a vision for an outreach ministry for the church to provide services to families with small children during the summer months when left unattended by adults working.

In 1989, we moved from the campus of Dulatown Presbyterian Church and served in several communities until we settled at a main campus in Whitnel, NC.
